What is it?

The Big Pedal is a fun way to encourage the school community to travel to school by bicycle or scooter. This year schools achieved this goal, with journeys averaging 10 times that of the usual bicycle trips made to school. We hope you will continue to build on this and promote cycling and scooting to school in readiness for Big Pedal 2014.

Fundraising

Thank you to all the schools who raised money for Sustrans at their Superhero fundraising day. So far, we have raised £6,700 which is a great start! If you have yet to send in your donations, please go to the donate page for details of how to pay in your money.

We received hundreds of photos from the Superhero day and the best three images were awarded a set of high visibility jackets.
